Foster Care & Adoption
Though not an 'official' program of our church, Fairway has a strong network of families committed to the ministry to and care of orphaned and neglected Children be it through the foster care system, international adoption, or domestic adoption. Many of our families are actively fostering children, have adopted children, or are active in supporting the families that are directly engaged in this effort. For more information about foster or adoption we would love to put you in touch with one of our families as well as the local organizations supporting foster and adoption represented by families in our church.
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. James 1:27
We believe that the church is the regenerate people of God saved by the power of God for the purposes of God in this world. We believe that a covenant gospel community is an essential component of God's plan for our lives. Finding a church home is a necessary part of living out that plan.
We invite you to attend Fairway 101 to learn more about our beliefs, our vision, and what it means to be a member of our church. To attend the next 101 session please contact the church office or one of the elders.
We believe that missions & evangelism are the natural outworkings of a life committed to Christ. We believe that to be a Christian, is to follow Christ's command to make disciples of all the nations. Our church is committed to local and international missions efforts both in our physical efforts and in our finances. In recent years we have partnered with churches and missionaries in Belize, Mozambique, Baltimore, Houston and Wichita Falls.
What is Project 24:11?
We believe that all Christians are part of the priesthood, set apart to make disciples of all the nations. Project 24:11 is one opportunity offered at Fairway to take the gospel to lost and unchurched people in our immediate community.
Church members are encouraged to participate in structured evangelism sessions throughout the year. Each session begins with specific training that equips participants to share their faith. Teams are organized and sent out to share the gospel with and minister to the neighborhoods surrounding our church.
