Sunday Mornings at 9:30 AM

Immediately prior to the worship service we have Bible study for both members and visitors. Adult classes are  currently covering the three areas that we believe are essential for Christian discipleship - the Scriptures  basic Christian beliefs, and spiritual habits. We have three classes, each one devoted to one of these three areas and attendees can choose between the three. Classes are designed not only for the study of God's word but also for the initiating and development of relationships within the church with the expectation that they translate beyond Sunday morning.

Classes are organized generally into the following groups:

Kids (nursery through fifth grade)

Youth (sixth grade through twelfth grade)

All adults

Our desire is to develop a community of men that exhorts, rebukes, and intercedes for one another. Our chief ambition as both men and friends within this community is to stir one another's affections for Jesus. Means to this end include breakfasts, hiking trips, book clubs, running groups, lunch, dinner, football games, Bible studies, prayer meetings, etc.

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. Hebrews 3:12-14

Men's Ministry

Our women's ministry exists to kindle enthusiasm and affections for Jesus Christ. Our vision is to foster a community of women that encourages one another in the security and satisfaction of an identity rooted only in following Him. We desire integration across all ages to encourage the teaching and mentoring of younger women by older women. Our community of women includes stay at home moms, working moms, working single ladies, single mothers, home school teachers, engineers, public school teachers and ministry workers.

Women's Ministry

We recognize that the college and early-career years are a busy, transient time for most young adults. We believe in the centrality of the Church as an essential component to God's plan for our lives. Our desire is to provide a church-home for students and young adults that allows them to integrate into the larger church body, interacting with Christians in all seasons of life, not just College Students. Our vision is that they would serve & be served, disciple & be discipled, minister & be ministered to as they function as a regular part of our church.

College students and single adults meet in our Young Adult class, which meets Sundays at 9:30 AM.

We fully support the on-campus efforts of the Baptist Student Ministry at Midwestern State University. Many BSM members and leaders have been active, highly valued members of our church as they serve the Kingdom at MSU and at Fairway. We are excited about what God is doing there.  A link to their on campus student ministry can be found here: https://www.msubsm.com/.

College & Career

We believe the purpose of ministry to students is not simply to offer an age-appropriate teen activity on Wednesday nights, nor is it merely to provide a source of clean entertainment. Rather, our student ministry is Fairway’s attempt to teach, shepherd, and cultivate in our teenagers and young adults deep affections for Jesus; teenagers who abide in Christ. Who walk in a manner worthy of the Gospel to which they have been called. Our hope and prayer is for students to grow spiritually and leave the student ministry understanding, how to read & study God’s Word, the importance of the local church, and how to fulfill the Great Commission. We believe the Gospel changes lives, therefore, our singular mission for Fairway’s student ministry is to reach teenagers with the Gospel. To do this, we currently concentrate our efforts on Sunday morning Life Groups, a Wednesday night youth service and various activities throughout the year, such as camps, lock-ins, fellowships, etc.

Youth Life Groups are at 9:30 AM Sunday morning before service in the youth room. Wednesday Night Bible Study is held every Wednesday from 6:00PM - 7:30PM in the youth room for 6th - 12th graders.
