Introducing a new face to small group ministry
Life
in Christ is more than a weekly worship time of corporate praise
and Bible study. Life in Christ happens, at least one way, through
applying what you hear from God’s Word in relationships with
others doing life with you. That’s what a LINK is all about:
small groups building real relationships through real truth.
LINK
Groups are small groups YOU can create and facilitate in different
ways, but exist for the same purpose—to dig deeper into Sunday
mornings’ sermon through Bible study, discussion, and application.
Study guides with Bible study notes and discussion questions will
be provided weekly through the Fairway website along with a chance
to dialogue even more with Pastor Brett with questions and comments.
You don’t have to be a “teacher” nor have all
the answers. You just have to love Jesus enough and care about His
Word enough to talk about what God says with others who do, too.
The rest will come naturally and we’ll help!
- IF
you want to deepen friendships you have into spiritually encouraging
and challenging relationships, then build a LINK with existing
friends and family.

IF you want to build new relationships, then create a LINK with
people who are new to you or new to Fairway.
-
IF you want to be in a LINK but aren’t ready to lead one,
ask a friend to lead it and commit to help them create and make
it a success.

IF you just want to be in a LINK and don’t know who to
ask, sign up yourself, and we’ll add you to an existing
group or help you build one.
SO GET STARTED TODAY
• Start by recruiting a group that you will lead.
• Start by building a group for a friend to lead.
• Start by signing up to be in a group that has openings.
• But most of all, start praying for God to help you move
from being a hearer of His Word to a doer of His Word – from
being an individual in a pew to a growing part of His Family.
DETAILS
LINKs can meet at the group’s discretion, but ministry programs
for nursery through youth will take place from 5:45-7:45 Sunday
nights. So if childcare or kids are an issue for your LINK, it should
meet from 6:00-7:30 Sunday nights beginning September 14th.
LINK
leaders will also have access to a special portion of fairwaybaptist.com
for various resources to assist in guiding your LINK.
Basic
training and support of LINK leaders will be on Sat. the 13th.
IN
ADDITION…
The TRUTH PROJECT
– an in-depth Christian worldview experience – will
take place Sunday nights at Fairway for those who were unable to
be in it last spring. Sign up and details about the Truth Project
will be available beginning August 31st.
